Danny created the Self Sustaining Building Programme in 2008 and in the same year started a portfolio of work with the United Kingdom Environment Agency and private sector.  In 2013, Danny with colleagues, started the New Sustainable Building Model (NSBM) Ltd and conducted sustainable building research, as well as, driving forward the creation of an Eco Rating Tool.

The development of the Eco Rating Tool was recognised with the award of a Green Apple Award in 2015 and is used to assist projects in achieving best Design and Build Self-Sustaining principles and practices.

Danny is a affliated member of IEMA, a member of ASBP and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).

IEMA = The Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment  which is the largest professional body for environmental practitioners in the United Kingdom.

ASBP =The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products.
