Overview of Self-Sustaining Building Framework

We use the following when assessing the SSB approach to sustainability (click on diagram to expand):

SSB uses this unique Eco-efficiency framework to lessen and where possible remove the unsustainable life-cycle impacts of buildings on the planet, people and communities. This is done in conjunction with its Eco Rating Tool.

These framework criteria and SSB tools are used to assess the viability of a project for SSB credentials and factors.  The approach can provide a total environmental and economic assessment and value of a building or community.
